Los Altos Hills doesn't do sidewalks or streetlights. This is semi-rural estate country, large custom homes on one-acre-plus hillside lots, most of them on septic and private utilities. The Town protects that character carefully: Maximum Floor Area and Maximum Development Area limits cap what you can build, pathway dedications come with many projects, and sloped sites face grading and geologic review. None of it derails a remodel if the math is done first, so we run those numbers before we design anything.
