We stand behind our work. In writing. On every job.
If we built it and it isn't right, we come back and fix it. A written workmanship warranty on our labor and installation, manufacturer warranties on everything we install, and a licensed, bonded, and insured company standing behind all of it.
Our workmanship warranty
We warrant that the labor and installation performed by our crew is done in a workmanlike manner, to the standards of the trade and the requirements of your permit and local building code. That's standard on every project, not a paid upgrade. If something we built isn't right, we come back and fix it, and you don't get a bill for it.
Many remodeling warranties exist only as a handshake. Ours is in writing, attached to your contract, so you have something concrete to hold us to. We'd rather prove the work holds up than ask you to take our word for it.
When you call, here's how fast we move
- Emergency: an active leak or a safety issue gets a same-day response.
- Urgent: something isn't working right but isn't hazardous, so we're on-site within about 48 hours.
- Standard: a cosmetic item or tolerance question gets scheduled within one to two weeks.
And if you sell your home, your workmanship warranty can transfer once to the new owner. Just tell us in writing within 30 days of close of escrow.
Manufacturer warranties
The materials, fixtures, appliances, and equipment we install carry their own manufacturer warranties, and those pass through to you. We coordinate them on your behalf. So the people who made the product cover the product, and you still have exactly one number to call if something comes up.
Licensed, bonded & insured
- Licensed: Class B General Building Contractor, CSLB #1050108.
- Bonded: contractor's bond through Merchants Bonding Company (Mutual) (bond #101770765).
- Insured: commercial general liability and workers' compensation coverage. You can verify our insurance any time by calling our broker, Construction Specialties Insurance Services, at 888-874-3800.
What the warranty doesn't cover
We'd rather you read this before you sign than discover it after. Our workmanship warranty does not cover:
- Customer-supplied materials, and work performed by others.
- Normal wear and tear, or damage from misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance.
- Existing or concealed conditions, and manufacturer defects.
- Movement, settling, cracking, or expansion of existing structures.
- Water intrusion caused by existing conditions or work outside our scope.
- Paint touch-up color mismatch (an exact match to existing paint can't be guaranteed).
- Damage caused by occupants, tenants, pets, or third parties.
Warranty work covers the labor we performed within the contracted scope; it doesn't include repairs outside that scope.
