Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Class B General Building contractor, CSLB #1050108, with a contractor's bond, general liability, and workers' compensation. You can verify the license yourself on the CSLB site in about a minute, and we would rather you did. See our credentials page.
Is the estimate really free, and is the price fixed?
Both. The estimate is free with no obligation, and what we give you is a fixed price in writing before any work starts, not an hourly guess. Anything we discover later comes to you as a written change order with a price, before we do it.
Do you do small jobs as well as remodels?
Yes, the business started in service and repair. We do run a two-hour minimum plus the trip on service calls, so for a single faucet washer an hourly handyman will be cheaper. For anything that needs a license, a permit, or a wall opened, we are the right call. See home repairs.
What areas do you serve?
San Jose and the South Bay first, plus the Peninsula and parts of the East Bay, roughly within 40 miles of San Jose. The full list is on our service areas page.
Who actually shows up at my house?
