Los Altos is a town of low rooflines: 1950s–60s single-story ranch homes, and a few Eichlers, set on large lots in Old Los Altos, North Los Altos, and the Country Club area, many a short walk from the downtown Village. All that land is generous to additions and ADUs. The catch is that several tracts carry single-story overlay zoning that rules out a second story, so we confirm what your lot allows before anyone falls in love with a staircase.
We're a family-owned San Jose contractor, and Los Altos jobs run the way all of ours do: one family, one crew, one point of contact. We draw the plans, pull City of Los Altos permits, and handle Title 24, which leaves you the pleasant part: choosing finishes you'll love.
Los Altos reviews permits through its own building department, and we handle every step of that process for you, from drawings to final inspection.
