Bathroom remodeling in San Jose
A good bathroom is quiet about the work behind it: the waterproofing, the slope of the pan, the fan you never hear. From a tired hall bath to a down-to-the-studs primary suite, we build the kind that stays beautiful because it was built right underneath.
The details are the whole job
A bathroom is the smallest room in the house with the most trades in it. Plumbing, tile, electrical, and ventilation all share a few square feet, and they have to land in the right order, set by people who actually talk to each other. That's why one crew builds your bathroom start to finish: nobody is waiting on a sub, and nobody gets to blame one.
As for cost: a straightforward refresh of a hall bath starts in the low five figures. A mid-range remodel with new tile, a walk-in shower, a new vanity, and updated plumbing typically runs in the $20Ks to $30Ks. A full primary-suite gut can reach the $40Ks to $60Ks depending on size and finishes. We'll tell you where your project lands before you commit to anything.
Building a bathroom that lasts
Tile almost never fails. What fails is what's behind it, so that's where we spend our care: waterproofing membrane behind every tiled surface, a shower pan sloped to drain the way it should, and a fan sized to actually clear the steam and meet code. Done wrong, those show up as a stain on the ceiling below, two years later. Done right, the finishes stay beautiful for decades.
A typical bathroom runs about three to five weeks. While the walls are open we can build in aging-in-place features (curbless showers, grab-bar blocking, comfort-height fixtures) if you want a bathroom that works for the long haul. And when it's time to choose tile, fixtures, and a vanity, we'll narrow the field with you so the decisions feel manageable instead of overwhelming.
Walk-in showers
Curbless and walk-in showers with custom tile and glass, and the waterproofing underneath that keeps them dry for good.
Tile & finishes
Floor-to-ceiling tile, stone, and fixtures chosen to look good on day one and wipe clean on day one thousand.
Primary suites
Down-to-the-studs rebuilds with reworked layouts, double vanities, and soaking tubs worth lingering in.
SB 407 & Title 24
Low-flow fixtures and energy compliance folded into the permit work, so code never shows up as a surprise.
