Drive across Santa Clara and you drive across decades. The Old Quad near Santa Clara University still keeps its 1920s–40s bungalows, homes with real history in the plaster that deserve a careful hand. A mile out, the postwar ranch tracts of Forest Park, Rivermark, and Killarney Farms are a different job entirely: solid, simple houses that open up beautifully into modern kitchens, reworked layouts, and backyard ADUs.
